Renovation of a historic, rural building in Ellezelles. A central courtyard forms the hart of this building complex and will become the central focal point by altering the internal orientation of the buildings. A closed shed on the left side becomes an outdoor entrance-canopy, connection the main house with a guest bedroom in front. A second canopy is added on the west-facade overlooking a copy of the paved surface in the courtyard; this time it becomes the only open space in the back garden; the rest becomes a dense woodland. The historic lay-out is respected, but the use is far more playful and diverse.
