An old school building will be renovated into a private house with atelier. The very strict architecture with its formal facades and high garden walls, is provided with an additional, different garden language. Parts of the paved playgrounds are kept, while other parts are broken up so they can evolve into something that feels more like a garden. Paved surface and planted areas alternate, playfully laid around the building. Open, more rigid spaces are followed by densely planted areas; each one corresponding with the character of the atelier or house.
