The dreary lawn that serves as the public parvis of 'De Singel', needed to be redefined with a very short-living and low-budget landscape design. As an intermediate phase, for more substantial works later on, short-lived flowers will be sown as a striking summer-carpet beneath a new sculpture that spans this parvis. The sharply outlined, white flowers form a powerful response to the brutalist, yet playful facades.
